Developed by Spike Chunsoft, the game united many characters from across the “multiverse” of series from Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump anthology. It came to the Nintendo Switch in 2020 as Jump Force Deluxe Edition. Jump Force launched in February 2019 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. It was not specified if European, Asian, or Japanese editions of Jump Force will be ending service as well. The multiplayer lobby, online events, clan features, the notice board, leaderboards, online rewards, and online ranked matches will become unavailable.

From that point, only offline content and online versus modes will be available. Jump Force online service will end later, on August 24, 2022. Similarly, any purchased DLC will still be accessible. Players who own the game will be able to download and play it, but new purchases will be impossible. At that point, all sales of Jump Force, its DLC, and virtual currency will cease on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch storefronts. The end of service for Jump Force will begin with the removal of the game from digital storefronts in the Americas. Jump Force’s availability through digital purchase in the Americas will end on at 5 PM PST. Our sincere thanks goes out to all Jump Force players and fans for their support but with all good things, they must come to an end. According to a statement delivered by Bandai Namco Entertainment America and posted to their official Twitter account, the “sunsetting” of Jump Force will begin in February 2022. Bandai Namco Entertainment will be ending service for Jump Force, its cross-brand 3D fighting game, in the Americas.
